  3. Register an application

Before you can use an API you have to register your application. When you register an application, the application is assigned to a unique client ID and client secret. You must use the client ID in order to call an API, because it requires that you identify your application by using a client ID, or a client ID and client secret. Check the API description for the details.

The Dynamic Client Registration API provides operations to register and manage client applications to use Ma French Bank's OAuth 2.0 endpoints. The Dynamic Client Registration API follows the standard defined in RFC7591 and in the STET description : OAuth 2.0 Dynamic Client Registration Protocol.
Note that clients managed via this API are modeled as applications in Ma French Bank and appear in the Applications section of the API portal. Changes made via the API appear in the UI and vice versa. Tokens issued by these clients follow the rules for Access Tokens.

The use of La Banque Postale's PSD2 APIs is restricted to TPPs (third party providers) registered with the competent regulatory authorities. This requires the following prerequisites :

    - Obtaining an AISP agreement from a regulatory authority

    - Presentation of an eIDAS QWAC certificate to secure the request
